Is it possible to find free and secure parking?

Our accommodation is perfectly located so that you can easy access by car. You will also find nearby parking options despite being located in the historic centre of the city.

How easy it is to find a parking space depends largely on your arrival time, but we will always be happy to help you find a parking space to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

In this section, you will not only find clear indications to make your arrival easier, but also a map of the best areas to park near our accommodation.

If you decide to come by car, our recommendation is that, once parked, you leave it parked until the day of your departure. From our accommodation you can explore all of the city's main tourist attractions on foot.thanks to our privileged location in the old town.

Cordoba is a perfect city to walk around and discover its charm in every corner.. The only exception is Medina Azahara, an impressive archaeological site located on the outskirts, some 8 kilometres away, which you can easily reach by car or public transport.

If we arrive in Cordoba by train or bus, how long will it take us to get to our accommodation?

Generally, in about 10 to 12 minutes you will be in your accommodation. On busy days, it may take a few minutes longer.

What is the approximate cost of the taxi?

Prices may vary depending on whether it is a public holiday or not, and traffic conditions may also affect the time it takes to get there. Usually the price is usually between 10 and 15 €..

We have thought about walking, are we far away?

From the train and coach stations, it is a short walk to 2 kilometres to "La Almunia de Córdoba" (28 minutes walk).

Walking to the accommodation is an excellent idea, as the most direct route will take you past the emblematic Viana PalaceIt has been declared a national historic-artistic monument and artistic garden.

Is there a bus that will drop us off near the accommodation?

There are different bus lines that can leave us more or less close to the accommodation, however, the option we recommend is to take the bus. LINE 3 in the STOP 442 (RENFE-Est.Buses WESTE), which will take us to Alfaros-Alfonso XIII street, where we will get off and from there we will walk to the flat (600 metres, 8 minutes walking).

How can we get a taxi?

If you have just arrived in Cordoba by train or coach, just outside both stations (they are next to each other), you will find a taxi rank. You will rarely have to wait.

During your visit to Cordoba, you can always use taxis by calling the following telephone numbers 957 764 444 - 957 450 000You can also let us know what time you need it and we will order it for you.

At the chekout, it is very common to request a taxi to take you to the train station. Count on us to help you with this task! All you have to do is let us know the time you want the taxi at the door.

Is there a supermarket nearby?

Yes, just a 3-minute walk away (200 metres) there is a Carrefour Express, located at C/ Santa María de Gracia, 3. Click here to get from the flat to the supermarket.

It's a public holiday, will we find a supermarket open?

Yes, the supermarket Carrefour Express Open from Monday to Sunday, and even on most public holidays. Click on this link to find out if it is open on a specific holiday.

For getting around Cordoba by busIf you do not have a valid ticket, it is necessary to purchase a valid ticket before travelling.

The municipal company Aucorsa offers several options, ideal for tourists who wish to move around the city in comfort.

  • Tourist card 24 / 72 hours:
    • This is a personal and non-transferable season ticket that allows unrestricted travel on any line of the transport network for 24 / 72 consecutive hours, from the first day of use on the bus.
    • The price of the 24-hour tourist card is 5 euros, and for the 72-hour card it is 10 euros.
    • The purchase of the card can be made in the Plaza de Colón Customer Service Office.
  • Purchase of individual tickets:
    • You can also buy a single ticket in cash directly from the bus driver when boarding the bus. However, it is important to have change, as drivers do not usually accept large denominations.
  • Mobile application:

How to get to Medina Azahara by bus?

From the centre of Cordoba, you can easily reach the archaeological site of Medina Azahara using the official daily bus, a shuttle service that connects the city with this emblematic historical site.

  • Exit points: Bus stop at Paseo de la Victoria (Glorieta Hospital Cruz Roja) y  Paseo de la Victoria (next to Victoria Market).
  • Timetables: Tuesday to Sunday.
    • At 10:00 h with return from Madinat al-Zahra at 13:30 h, arriving in Cordoba at 13:45 h.
    • At 10:45 am with return from Madinat al-Zahra at 2:15 pm, arriving in Cordoba at 2:30 pm.
  • Journey time: Approximately 20 minutes to the Interpretation Centre. From there, an internal bus will take us to the site in a few minutes.
  • Prices:
    • Adults: 9 € (includes return trip and shuttle from the Interpretation Centre).
    • Children (5 to 12 years old): 5 €.
    • Children under 5 years old: Free.
  • How to book: Tickets can be purchased at tourist information points o book online for convenience.

We recommend that you plan ahead and make the most of your visit to the Interpretation Centre before exploring the site. It is an essential experience to understand the historical context of Medina Azahara, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Where can we find craft workshops?

Cordoba is a city with a great tradition of craftsmanshiprecognised in July 2014 by the Junta de Andalucía, which designated the historic quarter as a Zone of Artisanal Interest (ZIA).

  • Leather work:
    Cordobanes and guadamecíes are pieces of embossed, modelled and polychrome leather. Although this age-old tradition is in decline, some family workshops still produce these unique works, combining classical and contemporary designs.
  • Goldsmithing:
    Gold and silver work is one of the hallmarks of Cordoba, with techniques such as Cordovan filigree, which consists of soldering fine metal wires to form figures. This art, which is of great economic importance, continues to stand out for its quality and beauty.
  • Jewellery:
    Cordoba's jewellery shops display a variety of unique gold and silver pieces, from classic designs to modern creations. The city is an international benchmark in jewellery production and design.
  • Ceramics:
    With a rich tradition in the province, Cordovan ceramic pieces are made with high quality clays. After being fired, they are decorated with motifs that evoke Muslim Cordoba, showing a clear link to its history.

We are going with a small child, does the flat have a cot?

Yes, the flat has a playpen, portable highchair, bedding for the cot and kitchen utensils for babies.

Before your arrival, please let us know if you need a cot so that we can prepare it for you.

Where can we dispose of our rubbish?

Just outside the accommodation, turning right and walking 100 metres, you will find some rubbish bins in a small square called Jesus of the Arrest.

Is the water in the accommodation safe to drink?

Yes, the water in our accommodation is completely safe to drink, safe and of excellent quality. In fact, Cordoba's water is considered one of the best in Spain thanks to its mild taste, its purity and the careful management of the region's water resources.

This means that you can enjoy water straight from the tap Whether for drinking, cooking or brewing.

In addition, opting for tap water is a sustainable choice that reduces the use of plastics and contributes to environmental care.
